Kenneth L. Gordon, M.D.

A West Los Angeles native, Dr. Kenneth Gordon received his medical education at Tulane University in New Orleans. He completed his internship at the University of Southern California Medical Center and his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Estelle Doheny/USC Eye Institute in 1979.

Dr. Kenneth Gordon has been a Clinical Instructor of ophthalmology at the Estelle Doheny/USC Medical Center since 1980. In addition to his duties at Century City Eye Medical Group, he is a senior attending physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Century City Doctors Hospital and Olympia Medical Center. He is a Diplomat and Fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Gordon is a pioneer in refractive surgery. He has been performing refractive surgery since 1981 and is a skilled LASIK surgeon. His clinical research and development of new technology has lead to advances in refractive surgery. Dr. Gordon is also known for developing innovations in LASIK, CKŪ, and small-incision cataract surgery.

Dr. Gordon is also active in community affairs and charitable organizations.

Dr. Gordon's passion for helping patients see better is only matched by his passion for his wife Debra and their three children: Michael, Dara, and David. A super-active bunch, they're always up for skiing, hiking, and traveling.

Joseph J. Gindi, M.D.

Born and raised in West Los Angeles, Dr. Joseph Gindi completed his undergraduate education at Oberlin College and went to medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Following extensive studies at Moorfield Eye Hospital in London, he completed his residency in ophthalmology at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Gindi has proven to be a tireless researcher. An experienced refractive surgeon, he has conducted in-depth studies aimed at perfecting procedures such as LASIK, PRK, and CKŪ. Dr. Gindi has also developed new techniques for small incision cataract surgery with lens implantation. A corneal specialist, his research has been extensively published in medical journals and in numerous medical textbooks on corneal disease and surgery.

Dr. Gindi has been honored with a prestigious appointment as Clinical and Research Fellow at the USC Medical School's Estelle Doheny Eye Foundation where he continues to lecture and lead corneal research. His staff appointments include Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Century City Doctors Hospital, and Olympia Medical Center.

A big family man in every sense of the word, Dr. Gindi enjoys spending his free time with his wife and eight children. He and his family love skiing, windsurfing, and other outdoor activities.
